Life at Finca Sarita
Each day here brings something new and different, and daily life is anything but routine. Activities are dependent upon the seasons, weather, cycle of the moon, and the needs of the farm.  We are located in the fertile pastoral foothills of the western Andes,, in the agricultural community of Sarampion. The area is home to a diverse array of lifeforms including monkeys, sloths, iguanas, bats, owls, toucans, hummingbirds, fireflys, butterflys, frogs, toads, lizards, possums, foxes, and catepillars, just to name a few.  In addition to the wildlife of the region,  you will be afforded the opportunity to interact with the amicable, curious locals.  Transportation to and from Calceta is usually in the back of a truck bearing local farmers with harvests to sell in town and returning with supplies.
